Driver app and telematics platform for a 300-vehicle fleet

A logistics business running a 300-vehicle fleet had drivers working from paper run sheets and phone calls, and the office could not see where deliveries stood.

We built a driver app first, then a telematics platform behind it. The app gave drivers their route, stops and proof of delivery, and the data it produced made the case for the platform. The work ran over six months.

Drivers collected paper run sheets each morning, and every change during the day meant a phone call. Proof of delivery came back on paper, sometimes days later.

The office could not tell customers where their delivery was, and the business wanted proof that a bigger telematics investment would pay off before committing to it.

We shipped the driver app first: the day's route, stops in order, navigation, customer notes, and proof of delivery with signature and photo. Changes reach the driver instantly instead of by phone.

The data from the app then fed a telematics platform for the office: live vehicle positions, stop progress, delivery exceptions and on-time performance across the fleet. On-time deliveries rose by 18%.
