Head of Engineering at Backendz
Head of Engineering at Backendz with 12+ years building production software. Owns how every Backendz system is designed, tested and kept running.
Ady leads engineering at Backendz. He sets the standards the team builds to: how systems are designed, how code is reviewed and tested, and how releases are deployed, monitored and supported once they are live.
He has spent more than 12 years building and running production software. He works alongside each project lead so the quality of a build does not depend on who happens to be on it, and he is usually the person who decides how a system should be put together before the first line is written.
On the blog he writes about what it takes to get software into production and keep it there: AI agents and retrieval, computer vision, offline-first mobile apps, data migration and keeping cloud bills under control.
